Welcome Spring! Welcome Mason Bees!
Looking for ways to make your Garden/yard/outdoor space more pollinator friendly? Hosting mason Bees in your yard is one excellent way to do this. Mason Bees are important early pollinators, especially of fruit trees and other spring-blooming plants. They are highly efficient pollinators and don’t sting, making them valuable for both gardens and agriculture.

Join Dave Hunter, a renowned local mason bee expert, for an enlightening session designed for all gardeners, whether beekeepers or not. This Saturday March 22nd from 9:30-10:30am online for only $8. In this workshop, Dave will share his extensive knowledge on how to harmonize with nature to maximize the success of spring pollination with local native mason bees. Dave will explain how the docile, hard-working, solitary mason bees are even more productive pollinators than honeybees, and keeping them can be a fun, easy, backyard hobby for gardeners, conservationists, foodies, and families everywhere. Dave is coauthor of the book, Mason Bee Revolution. Workshops are presented online. Access is via the Zoom meetings platform
