Volunteers Needed for Festival!
We still need quite a few volunteers to make our annual free Festival a joyful, interactive, and educational event on Saturday Sept. 28th. We’ve got unfilled volunteer shift for day of the event and some openings for upcoming pre-event shifts as well. Pre-event work parties still needing volunteers are:
Sunday Sept. 22nd 12:30-3:30pm at the Ballard Tool Library-Help build cornhole games 4 volunteers needed
Tuesday Sept. 24th 5:30-7:30pm at Jenny’s house-Silk screening, prep for games, craft projects 4 volunteers needed
Friday Sept. 27th 6-8pm at Loyal Heights Community Center-Organize/sort supplies 4 spots available and we need 3 people with trucks, vans, or suvs to help move supplies from Tool Library to Loyal Heights Community Center.
At the Festival we still have the following volunteer shifts open:
Saturday Sept. 28th
8:30am-10:30am help set-up Stage and Info booth – 6 volunteer shifts open
8:30am-10:30am help set up tents, tables and chairs for activity booths, set up decorations – 6 people needed
8:30am-10:30am exhibitor greeter, traffic director – 1 shift open
11:00am-1:30pm main stage manager – 1 shift open
11:00am-1:30pm Welcome festival-goers – 2 volunteer shifts open
11:00am-1:00pm Green Team help educate festival goers on recycling/compost/trash) – 1 person needed
11:00-1:30pm Information & Merch Booth-answer questions, hand out materials-3 volunteer shifts open
1:30pm-4:00pm Info & Merch Booth-answer questions, hand out materials –1 volunteer shift open
11:00am-1:30pm Hospitality Booth- set up and keep treats & refreshments available.-1 person needed
1:30m-4:00pm Hospitality Booth- keep refreshments available and help take down.-1 person needed
11:00am-1:30pm Craft & DIY Activities support one of our activity areas as needed-6 people needed
1:30pm-4:00pm Craft & DIY Activities support one of our activity areas as needed-8 people needed
4:00pm-6:00pm Clean up Crew help take down, clean and pack up tents, tables, equipment-4 open shifts
