Spring Beer Hop
We believe in creating community and supporting small local businesses. Ballard’s thriving Brewery District has been an excellent example of how businesses can nurture community, increase sustainability, and create a neighborhood that is fun to live, work, and play in. For this reason we started hosting our annual Spring Beer Hop visiting local breweries in celebration of Earth Day each Spring. This is an opportunity to gather a group of friends/neighbors or venture out on your own to explore and learn more at our SB Project tables located at each brewery.
This is a wonderful way to sample libations at these local spots, get to know your neighbors, meet new friends, and support our other projects through this FUNd raising event. Please join us for next year’s Hop on Saturday April 19th! Sustainable Ballard sustaining membership gets you a discount on tickets so please consider joining us. Want to sign up to be notified when our limited tickets go on sale so you don’t miss out on the fun? Email Rain for more info. Are you a Ballard brewery that would like to participate in this wonderful community event? Please contact Rain.
Huge thank you to our anchor breweries: Stoup, Obec’s, and Bickerson’s who have supported us since the start. Cheers to: Fair Isle, Distant West, Old Stove Gardens, Reuben’s, Hildegard’s, Bad Jimmy’s(no longer with us) for your participation. You all cultivate community and for that we are grateful! Cheers!
