It’s Raining Rebates!

Sustainable Ballard’s RainWise Outreach Team was very productive in 2024, visiting 1242 doors to share info about contractors and upcoming events, visiting 100 customers to share maintenance tips, providing contractor matchmaking for 121 potential new customers, distributing 1150+ brochures via infoboxes, and tabling at 26 community events. 88 properties had new raingardens and cisterns installed in 2024.

Thanks to programs such as RainWise, Roadside Raingardens and GSI Mini-Grants, the city and county also met the goal of managing 700 million gallons of polluted stormwater this year!

With the RainWise Rebates having nearly doubled the payoff in 2024, and 3 new basins scheduled to open in 2025, we are looking forward to continued and renewed interest in the program.
