Edible Garden Tour Success!

The record breaking heat didn’t stop us!

We did it! Despite the high temperatures, we had a great turnout for our 12th Annual Edible Garden Tour, selling nearly 210 tickets and over 200 raffle tickets.

The tour included a great variety of gardens, and many good conversations with both visitors and hosts learning about vegetables, trees, flowers, watering, bees, chickens, you name it. Visitors did taper off as the afternoon grew hot, but a few even stuck it out to the end!

Thank you so much to our volunteers who helped plan and execute this tour, to the garden hosts who made their yards available to the public and showed off their garden successes, and to the sponsors and raffle donors who helped cover expenses – it took months of work and was a true team effort.
