A Toast to Community!

It was a typical Spring day for last Saturday’s 3rd Annual Spring Beer Hop. We had overcast, we had sunshine, and we had a LOT of fun with everyone who came out to celebrate Earth Day! While enjoying tasters at 7 local breweries over 55 Hoppers visited our various community project stations to learn a bit more about our Sustainability efforts. A HUGE thank you to all of the attendees for taking the time to support and engage in community. Some of you even went to the ‘Hands Off Protest’ and still joined us. Others of you discovered our event and decided to spend your afternoon hoppin’ around being joyful.

To our incredible brewery hosts: Old Stove Gardens, Bickersons , Fair Isle, Lucky Envelope, Stoup, Obec, and Distant West-Cheers! Your breweries create, foster, and support connection in your taprooms and beyond. Thank you for creating beautiful third places for friendships, fun, and fundraisers. Also, thank you for doing what you can to increase sustainability within your industry-from repurposing spent grains, purchasing previously owned equipment, and using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. Every little thing we do has big impacts!

Last but not least, THANK YOU Beer Hop Volunteers!! There were two dozen volunteers who pitched in to make this community event wonderful. Interested in joining us as a volunteer for any of our on-going projects or upcoming events? Please email us at Volunteer to find out more. Cheers!
