Free Letters Home™ is adding a second day + location!
A letter home. That could be the first small step to reconnecting homeless individuals with their loved ones, to re-establish a relationship long neglected, or simply to say “I’m ok”. This is the goal of Free Letters Home™, a Sustainable Ballard project that has been operating since July of 2013 on the second Tuesday evening of each month at Nyer Urness House.
Now we are adding a new opportunity — the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30am, at the Ballard Urban Rest Stop. Starting July 11th, Free Letters Home™ will be at the Ballard Urban Rest Stop with pens and paper, cards and stationary, envelopes and stamps — everything one needs to send a note, letter or postcard to a friend, relative or loved one.
