It’s GARDEN MONTH!!!
Yes, we are proclaiming March Garden Month! To inaugurate this year’s season of gardening delights, we are pleased to share with you a host of fun and educational events throughout the community, designed to whet your appetite for gardening, give you new ideas, and get your questions answered by wonderful local experts. Check out our calendar for details on upcoming events, including a screening of the movie Good Food and discussion with the filmmakers on March 20th, grand opening of a the new Hazel Heights’ P-Patch on the 21st, our monthly gathering on the 22nd, exploring a broad range of resources for gardening with speakers from Seattle Tilth, Seattle Parks, Seattle Farm Co-op and City Fruit, and a class on Edible Gardening with Ingela Wanerstrand on the 31st. Also this month, Seattle Tilth’s Spring Plant Sale and numerous gardening classes, Edible Hedges (berries!) class, and much more! So put your gardening clogs on and join in!

Undriving by Bike+Bus
The Bike/Bus combo extends your Undriving options - and King County METRO recently made this more convenient! Now you can load/unload your bike anywhere in downtown Seattle during off-peak hours. (From 6-9am and 3-7pm M-F, remember to load/unload at the first or last stop in the Ride Free Area.) You can load/unload bikes any time in the Transit Tunnel. Also - electric bikes up to 55 lbs. can ride the bus! Click here for more bike resources.
