From Sustainable Ballard
There are lots of ways you can help out, like saving your Ballard Market receipts and bringing them to the monthly gatherings. There are behind-the scenes things...like managing the storage unit, building displays, or helping our monthly gatherings run smoothly. And of course, there are lots of ways to contribute to our events in the community, from one-time workshops to our annual Festival. Read on, we hope there's something for everyone - and if you don't see what you're looking for, let us know how you'd like to contribute to sustainability in our 'hood!

Monthly Gathering Helpers
SB hosts a community Monthly Gathering on the fourth Monday of every month, at Sunset Hill Community Club. Be part of making our Monthly Gatherings run smoothly by pitching in with one of the following tasks: (you can volunteer for one-time only or more)
- Greeter - Welcome people and provide information
- Set-up Coordinator - Oversee room set-up before the gathering. (This should ideally be more than a one-time job.)
- Clean-up Coordinator - Ensure that post-gathering clean-up tasks are taken care of. People always pitch in to help, so you won't be doing this alone!
- Potluck Coordinator - Oversee potluck set up and cleanup
- Time Keeper - Keep the program on track and moving
Orientation and training for all of the above will be provided!
